'''Bertram Larvan''' was an inventor who designed a mechanical insect to control insect pests. Unfortunately, he had no financial backing to support his invention. He resolved to steal money he needed for his invention. He later used his invention to steal more. Soon, he had an army of mechanical insects and took the name of the '''Bug-Eyed Bandit'''. He was thwarted by the [[Atom|Atom II]]. Later on, he accidentally discovered Atom's identity of Ray Palmer and fought him on different occasion. When he was about to use an amnesiac gas on Atom, he accidentally used it on himself. During the <i>[[Crisis on Infinite Earths]]</i>, he was one of the people killed by Shadow Demons.

Shilo wants to find Professor Stein. He indicates that Stein's theories concerning atomic processes are closely related to the Anti-Life Equation, and as such, has earned the attention of Darkseid.

Jason prompts the transformation into Firestorm, and knocks Orion across the city with a giant aluminum baseball bat. Orion strikes back, but Firestorm cages him inside of a solid Titanium cube.

Synopsis: Shilo Norman, also known as Mister Miracle, performs a death-defying stunt when he escapes from a sealed Titanium sphere as it is dropped down an empty elevator shaft.

Later in New York, Firestorm stops a terrorist cell of racist supremacists during a hostage situation at a courthouse. After the fight, Jason and Martin split apart and return to their respective apartments. Jason and Gehenna arrive at his apartment and finds Shilo Norman inside waiting for him. Shilo wants to find Professor Stein. He indicates that Stein's theories concerning atomic processes are closely related to the Anti-Life Equation, and as such, has earned the attention of Darkseid.
